The Rand Overview | Tods Murray v Arakin

The Rand Overview

The Rand Overview was authored by an expert in building disputes who is a qualified surveyor and arbiter.  It chronicles the entire dispute with Glasgow District Council using Michael Simpson’s time and line account as the backbone of his analysis.  Lord Woolman determined, having never met the author, that he did not hold the relevant expertise, good character, or independence, to ctiricise Michael Simpson’s conduct.  However, the report’s author was Michael Simpson’s expert, engaged by us at his behest, throughout our dispute with Glasgow District Council and was a material witness to Michael Simpson’s ineptitude.

*It was the author of the report who undertook the photocopying  for which Michael Simpson attempted to charge us over £18,000 (which was taxed off by the then Auditor of the Court of Session, Mr. Haldane Tate who, in my view, was a credit to the position.)
